      Hi!

      Thanks for your question.

Well, I do not want to just donate the money. That is the last thing I want to do. I want to find a school where students are eager to pursue some engineering project that needs funding. I would support the group and mentor them to provide all things necessary for it to happen and obviously the money. I would want the project to be unique and innovative. So, if you setup a nice proposal for a school engineering project and providing that I will like it, then I will come to your school and give all that money to that project and help you do it.

We have to spend that money for communicating engineering to students. Otherwise, I would just buy ice creams for everyone haha! Just joking 🙂

      Hi,
I play to spend the money to support a few students to go on an engineering taster course. The reason for this is that courses like this are what inspired me to be an engineer in the first place and I would love for more people to have this opportunity.
The charity which runs these courses is called the Smallpeice Trust and I work with them throughout the year supporting the courses sometimes as a speaker, sometimes running activities and sometimes as a mentor to the students taking part.
They are really good fun and well worth having a look at.
I cannot guarantee that you will benefit directly from this, but I recommend you have a look into the Smallpeice Trust if you are interested as they are really great courses and you never know you may just meet me there in person if you do go on one!

If i win the £500 then i will revamp our robot demonstrator that our out-reach people take round to schools to demonstrate engneering. It got broken after many years of service and i cannot get replacement parts for it anymore.
You probably won’t benefit directly but if just one person that plays with it is inspired to go on and be an engineer then they may be involved in something in the future that may influence your life. Just imagine that they might go on to invent something or work at a facillity that might find a cure for something terrible. You never know!

      Dear ; -)
If I were to win the £500, you will allow me to hire the “Bridge to schools” kit, build it at public locations and your school will receive a mention in further publicities in conjunction to the event. Your vote will make these possible.
