      Hi Mollmay

My grandad drove a tank in the 2nd world war and lost an arm at D day when it got blown up. Even with one arm he could he could still build a house or fix anything put in front of him. This kind of inspired me as a kid. Also i have always been interested in how things work and would always take everything to bits and (hopefully) put it back together.
I have always found it more intersting to read about engineering genius than stories about other jobs.

      Dear mollymay and blonde bimbo,
My father is a great inspiration. He introduced me what engineers do and that women can be great engineers too.

      Hi!

No one has inspired me to be an engineer, but I read a lot about engineers that inspire me now. One of them is Elon Musk that created amazing electric cars and cheap rockets for space.

      Hi,
I had a DT teacher who was an engineer before he became a teacher who really got me intrigued about engineering, however the most inspiring people where the engineers I met who were willing to talk to me about their jobs and what they did. That is one of the main reasons that I wanted to take part in this, for me there would be nothing more special than if I was to inspire just one person to take up engineering, in the same way a number of people did for me.

Hi Mollymay, my godfather inspired me into engineering. He was an engineer in the RAF too and gave me loads of good advice as well as telling me loads of cool stories about his time in the RAF!
