      Hi

Yes often. You have to remember though that it is often easier to see the faults in something after someone else has done it that when you doing something yourself. The saying ‘always easier with hindsight’ always comes to mind but when i see something that i think could have been so much better with just a little more attention to details or care i do think, should have done it myself!
Even something simple like an every day appliance that you use you often think why didn’t they make the lead longer or why didn’t they protect this part better!

      Dear mollymay,
Always. I always think of better ways to improve things and take inspirations from my surroundings.

For example, if I were in charge of building the Tower Bridge, I would want it to be fully powered using a long lasting natural resources such as solar power (instead of the current use of oil, see http://www.towerbridge.org.uk/bridge-history/).

It often comes when you find something is not meeting your requirements. Maybe even you see it probably when using your phone and thinking ‘Oh, I want this up to be a bit more…’ or ‘I wish this was….’. These are things we are coming up with. We all can do it.

However, I always have seen this in me since I was a kid. Once, I remember when I was about 5 I saw a derailed train on the news. It derailed, because some rock or a large stone was laying on tracks and this caused a crash. I asked my mum who are those people who solve problems like this, because I have a solution to this.
