      Hi
Beacuse my job is coming up with solutions for one off science projects there ins’t a lot of cross over with everyday life. That said many of the technologies we use could easily be employed in everyday life but we don’t design everything to be as cheap as possible. We look at reliability and long service as you don’t want a crucial experiment being halted due to something failing. This wouldn’t work in comercial applications as it is always about profit margins and costs!

      Hi there!

I work with spacecrafts for scientific missions, for example measurement of Earth’s magnetic field, which is not everyday.

However, I worked and currently working on communication satellites that will be used in space across the Europe in 2017. These satellites will improve your everyday communication, for example Facebook, Whatsapp, phone calls etc.

      Hi,
I’m not really much of an inventor really, to be honest. However working in the automotive (car) industry its always amazing to me that the things I work on are used everyday and the solutions to issues that I have resolved make people’s everyday life that little bit easier or (hopefully) more enjoyable.
