Because fast jets are really only used by the military they tend to be more expensive! A Typhoon fast jet that the Royal Air Force use to patrol british skies costs around 30 million pounds each! This is mainly because of all the computers on board, the specially designe engines and of course, the ability to carry and fire weapons!
