      Hi Iola.

We tend to try not to undertake anything dangerous at work We have a large Health and Safety team and we consider any risk and how to make things safe before we start. In a previous job i have had to go into a radioactive areas wearing a protective suit with air lines to fix things which was pretty scary!
Outside of work i like to see how fast i can ski or go downhill on my bike which can be a bit scary at times.

I love extreme sports like skydiving, which is dangerous. I also rode a mule along the cliff which was scary, but fun haha!

I think the most dangerous thing I do for fun is Skiing – I tend to go a bit faster than I should!
At work the most dangerous thing I have done is driving cars on test tracks, they are normally prototypes and although we take lots of precautions to make things as safe as possible there is always a little bit of risk there just because of the speed.

I was unlucky enough to be at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan in 2012 when the base got attacked. Thankfully in the RAF we get some of the best training and equipment in the world to look after us so at the time I wasn’t too worried. Looking back now it was pretty scary though!
