      Met the queen once when she came in to officially open our machine for business!

      So far one of the biggest highlights for me was being nominated for the IET’s Young Woman Engineer of the Year Award last year, I didn’t win but I did make the finals and was really chuffed with it!

      The highlight of my career was an ability to develop lightweight structures for space. I used a lot of calculations and smart design to reduce weight.

      It is a long material rolling out from the box of a size equivalent to four matchboxes!

      Hey Duke!

      I was lucky enough to be selected to be a Royal Air Force Service Steward at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. I worked on Centre Court for 2 weeks and was really lucky to be there for the final when Andy Murray won!

      Dear Duke,
      When I was and currently the Women in Engineering role model in my organisation for two consecutive years (2014 and 2015). Women are great engineers.
