      I have design loads of control sytems over the years to do specific tasks. What i like is when something you have designed has the flexibility to be utilised to do other tasks. I built a system to ensure that radiation fed to beamlines didn’t exceed an acceptable level which with some changes to software could also be used to limit the X ray power fed to the same beamline. Not going to change the world on a day to day basis but if that beamline went on to improve our understanding of what causes Cancer then well worth it.

      My best invention was a panel for an antenna that will be in space for communication. You will be using it via your phone to talk to friends on Facebook etc. This antenna had to be very light and it is 2m wide and 12long. I used a lot of theory and mathematics to overcome this problem and I calculated and designed a lightweight panel for this antenna to happen!
